Back to Blogging with Newborn Baby M- Newborn Photographer West Hartford, CT

For those of you who follow my blog, you probably already know that I am not a very consistent blogger…I disappear every year for several months and don’t post a single thing between November to late February. This is not probably a great thing to do if one keeps a blog. However, I find that the additional work of the blog takes a backseat to the hectic pace of late fall and the rush to get out holiday photos to my clients. Then, once the crazy fall rush is over, family time becomes my number one focus throughout the winter months. As a result, I end up disappearing for my own personal hibernation period. Though I am still shooting head shots, newborn sessions, and cake smash sessions during the winter months, the lack of family sessions due to the cold, snowy weather makes for lots of extra time for relaxing, reflecting, and preparing for the new year. However, it is always right around mid to late February that I get that get the itch to get back to blogging and preparing for the upcoming spring portrait season. It is February 24th….and today is the day:-)

So as of right now, I am officially back….and I will start my 2015 posts with a favorite family that I’ve worked with for a few years now. They just had their second, beautiful little girl, so we met up for a newborn/family session at my home studio last week. Here are few of my favorites from our session:
