There is no better way to get fantastic photos of your child for his/her first communion than to book a professional photo session PRIOR to the actual communion day. This allows you the freedom to shoot a series of photos through the church (if allowed) and also the outside areas, without having to wait in line behind all of the other families who will each be scrambling to take photos in all the best spots. This shoot that I am highlighting today was done exactly this way and we were able to capture beautiful moments that would have been otherwise missed if done the day of the ceremony. Here are just a few of my favorites from our session:
More spring sessions to share!! So excited to be back out there shooting again. Here is a little preview of a session I had just a couple of weekends ago. This little man was one of my favorites that I photographed during the Blue Back Square Halloween Stroll photos back in October. He was the very adorable little lion!
Here are a few of my favorites from our first session together….out of costume, this time 🙂
After the beautiful, mild temperatures of October, I can hardly complain about the weather this fall. But I guess the warm weather streak had to come to an end at some point and it finally did last week. The good part is that the little cuties in this session had their cozy scarves, mittens, and hats on for most of the session, which was really adorable and makes for the perfect look for holiday photos and cards for the winter season. Here are a few of my favorites from our session:
Well, it seemed to come on a little late this year, but the fall weather is finally here and the leaves are looking beautiful! For those of you who regularly follow my blog, you will know what that means….I have officially entered into my busy season! This is the time of year when everyone wants family photos for holiday cards and gifts, so my typical work schedule doubles or triples in October and November. As a result, I am going to try my very best to get as many session previews posted as I can, but I know there is just no way I will be able to get them all. So if your photos don’t make it to the blog, do not worry! It is completely random who gets previews posted and who doesn’t. Hopefully, I will have some spare time in the winter to go back and put some more of the fall shoots on the blog after the holidays. Keep checking back after the holidays for more fall shoots and my new winter work as well.
This next family was a lot of fun to work with and also planned their wardrobe beautifully! As soon as I saw them, I was very impressed…a perfect mixture of neutrals and bold colors:-) Here are a few of my favorites from their session:
Last week, I had a great family session with a beautiful baby girl who was delivering the most adorable smiles ever! When her parents would make her laugh, she would squeeze her eyes shut and throw her head back every time. It may have been the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. There is so much great stuff to capture at this age where they are crawling and just about to start walking. The whole world is new and fascinating to them, so it is the perfect time to have take some photos to capture these special moments before they pass by. Here are a few of my favorites from our session:
I had a session a couple of weeks back with a family I have known for many years now. My daughter and their eldest son used to play together when they were little babies! I had such a fun time photographing their two adorable little boys. They are truly brothers in every way….one minute putting each other into headlocks and the next minute laughing hysterically and having a great time with one another. They will no doubt be best buddies for life. Check out how super adorable they are with some of my favorite shots from our session:-)
