After being buried in snow for the past 3 days following Blizzard Nemo’s visit to CT, I thought that it might be the perfect time to revisit a few of my sessions from the fall that I still have not posted up on the blog. Just looking at the gorgeous foliage from this particular session is helping me forget about how cold my feet have felt for the past month and a half….how dark and depressing it is outside….and reminds me that soon, the snow will melt and I can get back outside for my family sessions again. I cannot wait! Although there is something very nice about being able to just curl up under a blanket on the couch and sip mugs of hot tea while catching up on TV shows and books that I was too busy to keep up with during my busy season, I really much prefer the more hectic pace (and warm weather) of the spring, summer, and fall.
So with that being said, if you are thinking about booking a spring family photo session, feel free to contact me now to get that on the calendar. Because there is nothing that makes me happier than when I can look at April on the calendar when it is February:-)
Okay, so here are some of my favorite shots from a session I had on October 21st. It was easily the best weekend of the entire fall for photos. The weather was PERFECT and the foliage was at its peak. This particular weekend always books up very early, so if you want to get that type of look for your next family photos, then you are going to want to book your session in late summer to guarantee you secure your fabulous foliage date. Take a look at what they had for a family session backdrop this past October….
