I had a great family portrait session this weekend with a family that I’ve worked with multiple times. It is always so fun to see the kids who I haven’t seen in a year because they change so quickly! These boys have grown quite a bit since our last shoot and they both have super fun personalities. I believe these photos really capture the spirit of this family perfectly…here are few of my favorites:
I’m trying to do a little long overdue blogging today and post some more recent shoots that I’ve done. Here is another fun family session with a really adorable toddler and his parents. Like most children his age, this little guy was not the least bit interested in looking at the camera or posing for shots. So I worked on catching him in those candid moments where he was just having fun with his mom and dad. I’m so pleased with how these turned out….and I especially LOVE the flower garden this time of year in Elizabeth Park. So glad we caught some cloudy moments so we could capture a few shots in there that morning.
These are a few of my personal favorites from our session:
A couple of weeks ago, I had one of the first real springtime family portrait sessions of 2014. This spring has been not so great for outdoor portrait sessions. First, it was just cold…cold….cold….cold. As a result, the flowers didn’t bloom and there were no green leaves or grass until what seemed to be much later than usual. Then, as soon as it warmed up a bit, it rained…and rained…..and rained some more. As a result, most of my outdoor portrait sessions have been pushed WAAAAAY back from their original dates.
It was awesome to finally get a chance to photograph a family in warmer weather with some beautiful trees in bloom! Here are a few of my favorites from this session:
